Not Just for Mistakes

I look for reasons

To use each one

Each bring a different kind of joy

Calm

Exciting

Cheerful

Inspiring

They make happy scribbles

“Whoopsie” scribbles

Occasionally a “?????” scribble

Annoyed scribbles

“Aha!” scribbles

And my favorite-

The ” :)” scribble.

Every teacher has a different kind they love

And I can never get enough

Of my “Scribble Stuff”

Your teaser on TWT and your title had me wondering what your topic was. A slice about mistakes? A lesson learned? A few lines in and I realize its a guilty-pleasure slice, one that resonates so well in this community, I’m sure. I love that it’s written as a poem, with you scribbling all the ways you love to use them!

I was gifted a huge pack of flair pens and gel pens for Christmas. It was probably my favorite gift. I love them, and my students tease me about how much I love them, but that’s okay. Sometimes, it’s the little things – like a pen that brings calmness, or excitement, or encouragement.

I’m intrigued! Are Scribbles like Flair pens? Are they different? The tip looks different. I might have to give them a try! Thanks for sharing your love of them.
